I know teachers usually have negative feelings about video games.  Kids need to go outside and play and when they’re inside, they need to read and do learning activities… I get it.  Thing is, I love video games myself and I can’t argue with the draw.

This morning, David came up to me with a question.

“Mr. _______, do you know that game, Mario Brothers for Wii?” He posed.

“Oh yes, I love that game, it’s so much fun,” I replied.

“Mr. ______, I can’t stop playing it, I am addicted,” he said rather seriously.

I suppose there are many worse things to be addicted to than Super Mario Brothers for Wii, so David should be just fine.
