I See I Learn Giveaway… FOUR!

I See I Learn Giveaway… FOUR!

Aug 05

As we get ready to head back to our sprouts, I am happy to announce two new additions in Stuart J. Murphy’s I See I Learn series of books.  These books have become a staple of my ‘Social Skills’ library and these two new stories will only increase the impact of the series.

Even better (yes, it gets better), Stuart has some amazing FREE resources on his website you can download and use with the books.

The two new books I’m giving away are:

1. Happy, Healthy Ajay! (healthy habits) – It’s never too early to start learning about healthy eating and exercise habits.  Ajay learns how to keep himself happy and healthy.

2. Freda Stops a Bully (dealing with bullying) – Freda loves her new sneakers, but Max doesn’t and makes fun of her.  When Freda’s feelings are hurt, she comes up with four strategies to deal with Max.  Stuart’s visual learning reminders throughout and at the end of the book help children remember these important tactics.

I’m so happy to make these books part of the Social Skills library in my classroom, but even more thrilled I get to share some of them with you!

Now the nitty gritty.  I have two copies of each book to giveaway.  So if my kindergarten math serves me correctly, there will be four winners.

Winners must have a mailing address in the U.S. to save on my shipping costs.  To enter the giveaway, use the Rafflecopter widget below.  The giveaway ends on Sunday, August 12th.  Good luck!

i’ve had my eye on the freda book for some time. it seems to be one of most age appropriate on the subject i’ve come across for my three year olds. i would love to have this for my classroom and to share with other early ed. teachers in my building. :)

My school is currently having deep conversations about how we can further develop our character education as a whole school. I would add these books to my tool kit of character education read aloud books for sure!

These books discuss topics essential to an early childhood classroom. I especially like the bullying one! I would most definitely use them to start a conversation and create a reference point for my students. These books are fantastic!
